Pahang is still covered by extensive rainforests. The jungles in Taman Negara, the country’s most well - known National Park were estimated by scientists to be about 130 million years old. The park is home to a myriad of flora and fauna and is high on the itinerary of tourists seeking an experience of the rainforest. Special canopy walkways have been constructed to allow nature lovers a splendid view of the park surroundings. There are also elevated hides to allow for night viewing of wildlife. - Cherating Club Med It is Asia’s first Club Mediteranee and is located at one of the famous beach which is Cherating Beach. This resort is known for its privacy and offers plenty of excitement for the visitors.
- Genting Highlands ‘City of Entertainment’ is 2000 meters above sea level and it is a modern resort. The main attraction is a sophisticated casino complex, show lounges, discotheques and also indoor and outdoor theme parks offering thrilling roller coaster rides for family entertainment.
- Fraser's Hill nestled at an elevation 1524 meters above sea level. It is a charming hill station which offers visitors the feel of a village in the English countryside with its quite and rustic atmosphere, a legacy of colonial times and named after the English adventurer, Louis James Fraser in 19th century.
- Cameron Highlands is 1820 meters above sea level and was discovered by surveyor William Cameron in 1885. He described it as ‘a fine plateau with gentle slopes, shut in by lofty mountains’. The highland is picturesque with its mist-covered hills and valleys.

- Chini Lake It is a string of several connected lakes and legend has it that a sea serpent inhabits one of the lakes called ‘Sea Gumun’ and also believed to be the site of a sunken Khmer city and known for series of expeditions to locate the archaeology.
- Silk Weaving Centre This centre showcases traditional silk weaving skills and noted for its intricate design and quality which was passed down from generation to generation.
- State Museum It exhibits the early history of Pahang royalty and displays on tin-mining, Chinese ceramics and glassware.
- River Cruise The Kuantan river cruise offers some atmospheric sights with several other activities to keep the tourist occupied and also view the fishing villages along the cruise.
- Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary This is a sanctuary known for displaced elephants ‘Elephant Orphanage’ saved from their natural habitat which was disturbed by illegal logging activities and irresponsible poachers and hunters. This elephants has been given a new life and being trained to adapt to their new environment before released to the wild. Visitors will able to watch the elephants given bath and other activities related to these animals.
